He's scheduled for December 19th (and he'll be 6 months old that day - terrible present).. Is there anything I should be worried about?? I don't want to leave him that day but I want to avoid spraying... He also some how attracted more cats to the house...
He doesn't go outside but I leave my screen door open for him to get fresh air and when it gets stuffy in the house and apparently other cats can "smell" (?) him... Anywayss... He's approximately 12-13lbs right now and I'm just so afraid something is oing to go wrong!

His sisters are going to miss him terribly while he's cooped up in "recovery". I wanted to do it while I was off school for winter break that way if something (god forbid) went wrong, I'd be home.

I'm a nervous mama!!

Castrating a male is a pretty simple procedure, and they seem to snap right back within a few hours, with no need of additional pain meds or follow-up visits. Petrie should be just fine.

It's not going to change his personality in anyway is it?? Thats my biggest fear! He's a huge love bug right now and I'm afraid he's going to be traumatized when its done (from being locked in a car over night and almost dying from a heat stroke).. Just the abuse he suffered before I took him by that kid makes me scared that he's going to think about it again...

And plus... Bfs one cat was a complete JERK before he got neutered.. Afterwards, he was the biggest lush and always wanted loved on.. Will Petrie end up going the opposite way to a complete butthead?
