I overheard a converstaion between my parents, my Mum telling Dad that she was expecting another baby. Full of excitement the following day I told my teacher, that is good news she said. Not long after were the long summer school holidays, during that time my parents were discussing buying one of the new colour tv`s ( Wow!!! I could not wait ). My mother also found out that she was not pregnant at all. It was only in my later years that I fully understood why on returning back to school after the holidays my teacher had a confused look on her face when she asked me questions about my expected new brother or sister, and I replied oh! no! mums not having one now, we are getting a colour telly instead
