Lola's eye check today

I just wanted to give a quick update on how it went with Lola at the vet today.

Luckily for me, the vet has seen one other case of Iris melanoma! She said Lola's spot is concerning and needs to be watched closely, but right now it is not showing the type of infiltration associated with iris melanoma.

She said that could be though that it is so recent.

We are going to track her for the next month and see how things change, or if they do. Then we will re-assess. The vet said there is a eye specialist at the Specialty Referral Clinic in ABQ, so we will get Lola and appointment there if this spot changes in any way.

thanks for updating! I am so glad they are going to monitor Lola and I hope you get good news. When I first brought Ziggy they kept telling me if nothing changed then there was nothing to worry about, I am hoping that nothing changes in Lola, and I am glad that I was able to help you!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Lola's eye shows no more changes.
