Well, I couldn't be happier this morning. The bat is gone
I finally got some rest and am not all creeped out anymore. I feel bad that they have to kill her to test her for rabies, but that wasn't my choise. The bat guy said he has to get her tested. Poor thing.

At least I know exactly what to do if this ever happens again. That bat guy was awesome..very helpful.

Anyway...we have an office picture today for our website and I have to dress all fancy..I am quite confused because I am not sure what to wear
I really need to buy a suit!

Off to the gym after work..and boy am I going to bed early tonight

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Poor Dorie! You were so were so full of spirit flapping your wings like so. I'll never forget that image of you clinging to Nat's mattress...Maybe you find your own door and mattress to cling to in that great cave in the sky.

I really hope she comes back negative for rabies.

Good news today is that I got the officiants for our wedding.
I just sent the email with the details and will send off the check and information they requested tonight. YES!!!!

Now I'm still working out details with a photographer and will have to find a DJ. Then I think I have most of the bulk stuff out of the way. Oh wait...flowers and cake....well I'm thinking about taking a trip there at the end of February and getting that out of the way.

Nice tribute..I do feel badly..the poor thing was lost. But if the bat guy is thinking she should be tested, so do I

RIP Dori.

Good morning people.
Today will be another boring day at work. I really hate dumb repetitive work. Yesterday for about 10 minutes I had to do something creative (find a new font for our company logo) and it was such a relief. I suddenly perked up, had tons of energy. But then I had to go back to the mind-numbing work.

I need more interesting things to do. Maybe tomorrow night I'll go to the fine arts museum (it's free until January
and I've never been). Not sure what I'll do tonight though. I need to get out a little but I don't want to spend much money.

Morning All!

I am feeling pretty chipper myself this morning. The cortisone seems to have kicked in and other then being a bit sore at the needle sites my knees feel great.

I am so relieved, the doctor keeps telling me this is a temporary solution and one of these times it isn't going to work. So each time it does is like a bonus.

Heading off to work in a bit, will be spending the day with purchase orders and since my boss is returning from a business trip trying to decipher some of his notes. This guy has the worse writing I have ever seen. Even after 13 years I still have to track him down to translate sometimes.

The kitties are good, they all have had a turn knocking a couple of things off the tree, but have been pretty good otherwise.
Knowing them they are most likely biding their time planning something big..

Everyone have a good one

Well what a relief about the bat but its sad to that they had to destroy her for the rabies test.

Its a very cold and windy windy day-the temps have actually fallen quite a bit since I got up at 5:30 am!! Its currently 20F (-7C) with a wind chill of 3F (-16C). Sustained winds at 23 mph too.

Guess I won't be raking leaves at a clients today!! So that officially has me done with any work until end of Feb/early March when I can start some pruning. What will I do with my time???? Might look for some temp work......

Anyhow-going to work on some small projects today and once the wind settles down-go and drive truck to veg garden and empty the perrenial clippings out.

Cats are all snoozing but I was bad and gave ox some leftover turkey bits today-I saw him use the litter box!!!

Broccoli/turkey/rice casserole for dinner with some chocolate cupcakes!!

Same here Gail, its SO windy & that wind has a nice chill to it... brr!!

Finally slept decent last night, my cold meds are finally starting to work. That & I drank about a whole gallon of orange juice & ate a bag of couch drops, maybe that helped too

Other than that, home tonight to do a touch of cleaning in the bedroom & unpack from the weekend
But then again, we're heading home again on Friday, so whats the use of unpacking today & re-packing on Friday?

I should wrap some Christmas gifts as well.

Have a delightful day!

RIP Dorie

Good afternoon I suppose, I've just finished a bit of xmas shopping with my mom (the money-holder) and that's all I've been up to! I went to school earlier, got told a sad story by my mom (check the RB forum) and that's all!

Have a good day folks! Or should I say evening now?

Horay! A good nights sleep for you!

I'm going to school to work on a project..... Other than that not too much will be going on.

If Thor's dog mommy's owner is home I'm going to take him to go visit with her. The lady who breeds the chihuahuas cried when I took him
I told her she would be able to see him again!

RIP Dori.

Well, hhhmmmm today.

Had one of those days today. Went back to normal work today now that my secondment is over. What a nightmare. The showroom was a mess and I was ralleying around sorting everyones mess. I had to sort out a to-do list for the whole store because the standards were so low. I'd only been gone for 5 weeks!!!! Now it's like... Sadie's back, now we don't have to do anything!!!

Hope tomorrow will be better. I'm not having a day like today again.
