Since I have been home puttering all day I make a huge pot of Chicken Vegetable Soup. I also made some herb and garlic tea-biscuits and am having a baked pear for dessert.
Everything smells so good.....

That sounds really good.

I think I will be lazy tonight and just throw some chicken strips and mozzerella sticks in the oven.

There's the end of a piece of ham that we should use. Think I'll roast some root veg to go with it. Maybe some garlic mashed potatoes, unless I decide to throw the spuds in with the rest of the roots. For dessert? It's probably time for a berry crumble or something like that.

Well, both US and Canada are on the continent of America, so I'd say you're right you're American.

I think we're just having breakfast for dinner - bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and hash browns ..
We had hamburger patties, mashed sweet potatoes and blueberry pie for dessert.

Just had a grilled cheese sandwich. We had a big lunch earlier though.

Tonight we had grilled chicken sandwiches marinated in a Southern marinade (no corn syrup, all natural ingredients). Grilled wheat buns, with Swiss cheese melted on top of the chicken. Sliced tomato, purple onion, red lettuce, pickle, spicy mustard, and grilled sliced mushrooms for the fixings. Then for a side dish a few small boiled red potatoes with skin and ice tea with lemon.
No dessert though. We usually don't have dessert. We do have homemade banana bread, if that counts?
