I was wondering if anyone else on this site likes to chews ice. I love to chew ice! It says pretty much everywhere online that this means i have an iron deficiency, but I have had my Iron levels checked and I am fine. So I was wondering if anyone else on this site likes to chew ice. It would be nice to know I'm not the only ice chewer.

Yep. I chew ice all the time and have since I was a little kid. I also have a vitamin b12 deficiency so that may be the cause of it.

I do. I'm severely anemic, so that may be why.

I find chewing ice worries me a little in regards to my teeth. They are healthy but i have a filling in the front and i worry about it chipping off if i chew something hard. I just get really tired if im low on iron and i cant donate blood

I will freak out if I hear anyone chewing ice, or anything loud like that. Ew. Just the thought of the sound makes me angry

There is a lady that comes into our office & eats a BIG glass of ice while waiting. I have to shut my office door so I can't hear her. It really is like nails on a chalkboard!

My SO is a vigilant Ice Chewer. I also chew ice. I am anemic and have low B vitamin levels. That may answer a few things but my SO is fine? He even does it in cold weather. I don't even have ice in my drink in cold weather!!

I love to chew ice too, don't do it a lot though. I just enjoy it. I don't have any health issues.
Two of my dogs like to chew ice too, when I fill up a cup at the icemaker and they come running, I always give them a chunk or two.
