because i am a lazy bum, i spent some time playing in photoshop today... testing my siggy, may need to resize...

It looks great but should be saved smaller than 30,000bytes (yours is 61649)
If you need help resizing, let me know

I'm just testing too. I had the same problem you did. I messed with mine some more, but I still don't know if it's small enough.

Nope, still too big

This link will show you how to save them small enough, if you use photoshop. If not, let me know what you use and I will walk you through it

GRRR!!!! I wish I had photoshop. I have Microsoft Picture It...... It saves in png, and I'm not sure I can change it to jpg.

usually it is a drop down menu, just choose jpg instead of png

you can also use compression software, irfanview and xat.com are popular

So now I changed it to jpg, from the drop down menu and this is what it looks like now

and it is still a big filesize

I save it using PictureIt as a jpg at 90% in the options and got this

You saved it for website / email in photobucket, just upload it again and change the uploading option to "Message Board 640 x 480"
