Anne... this is a fantastic idea for a new forum. I'd like to think that in a small way that 8-Bit had something to do with it, but I'm not going to tell him. His ego is big enough.

Okay, now for the story. 8-Bit isn't a small boy by any imagination. He also LOVES to sleep with us. Roughly at 5am I was smacked on the head because I had invaded his space. Mind you, the bed was mine far before he came here. Tell Santa I want a bigger bed for Christmas.

They do become quite possessive, don't they? However, the sad, sad news is that a bigger bed doesn't mean more room when you have cats. They somehow take up even more room. And they take up prime real estate.

hahahaha! this morning, my fiancee sat up in bed to stretch, and Kit promptly crawled directly under where her chest had been .002 seconds before and laid down, thus preventing her from going back to sleep he loves the warm spots left by just-vacated bodies

I have a king size bed and it doesn't help in the least.

lol yea same here, i have kized sized bed.
and my 2 cats seem think i am a just a cat pillow for them.

So typical!

I became Ophelia's bed because I moved around less than her Daddy. And I would actually wake up and move around her when I needed to shift in the middle of the night.

Now that it's getting colder, our bed is becoming popular with the kitties, especially since we have a heated mattress pad now. Earl can still sprawl. I'm pinned down by cats. And yet HE is the one who really wants a King sized bed. I don't care as much because I'm pretty sure my amount of space won't actually change much.
