4 out of 5 cats love their laser toy and chase it until they are exhausted and then still paw at it. My Torti doesn't even seem to notice this red light even when we put it in her direct line of vision. Is it possible she just can't see the red beam?

The light is never directed towards their eyes as a safety measure.

It could just be she has no interest in it. I have one cat who won't even look at the laser light toy, but if I turn off all the lights and click the flashlight on, Taz appears by my side ready to play with the beam of light.

And contrary to popular belief a cat cannot see anything directly in front of her nose- they can only smell what it is and use their whiskers to discover it.

She loves when light flashes off a ring or watch or crystal and if the light is light in colour. There is absolutely no recognition of the laser beam wiggling in front of her. We thought that it was too small and added an attachment that made it look like a butterfly, but still no response. Thank you for the feed back
