I can't let it go outside because it is too cold here, it will die. They can't fly in the cold.

I really hope my landlord gets a professional bat catcher in here to get it and take it to a safe bat place or something

Make sure to leave bits of fruit and lettuce out for it. I think they eat that stuff.

A picture of it? I haven't even seen it in daylight...I'll be sure to whip out my camera if it wakes me up at 3am again

Whatever species it is, it is full grown and about the size of a mini pack of playing cards. And its black.

(Its been in my laundry room for a year or so..thats how I know its full grown)

I love how this thread has turned into "this is now my pet"

Well I give up, her name is Dori then..(since I found her clinging to the DOOR)

What if it's a boy?

Have you heard the bat make any sounds since it woke you up?

at least you know that your new pet (the bat) isn't interested in hurting you, since you have had it for a year now! There is always a bright side!!
And this will make a wonderfully, hilarious story to tell, once it is all over with!

I have heard nothing since then..

I wonder if it found its way back to the laundry room..I don't know how smart they are to find there way back to places.

I hadn't even seen the bat before this..My ex saw it one time a year ago..he startled it in the laundry room and it was flying around..all I heard was "HOLY BM"..then.."there is a bat in there!!"
