I thought cream and white ones were born white?

I don't know what colour she is, but she is cute.

Is she not red and white? Or is that a hot cream?

Anyway, she is lovely

It is hard to see with that lighting, I thought the head pic looked a different colour than the body pic

I think you need to wait the kitten out. Looks like a light red or a dark (hot) cream. The light red would be ok in a show, but hot cream they usually will penalize somewhat cause they want the pale cream.

Would only be a cameo if one of the parents are a smoke.

Thats what I told my friend who suggested Cameo after i looked up more information on it.

Whatever color she is shes going as a pet, and we have one gal whos bought three kittens from us who may want to take her. shes a real chunky little monkey though.

I don't think she's cameo. I think she looks more like a cream & white. Unless the pictures are both way off. Jazzy is a cameo and this is what they look like. They are almost white. Peaches is a hot cream and white and also looks almost red sometimes in poor lighting. Anyway, she's going to be a beautiful girl! I love Peaches coloring especially when she's all squeeky clean and fluffed up.

How can she be a cream if both parents are black & white, as you said in the other thread?

From the photo of her face, I wonder if she could possibly be lilac? Do the parents have chocolate or lilac in their background?

no they dont.

And the question is exactly what I asked myself.

However, with a friend to help look we looked over Angel very carefully recently and found a few small very dark red patches in her massive amount of black. Which would make her a Calico, (her mom is a calico) and would make the cream and white explainable.

I spoke with the Registry this morning this isnt the first time they heard of this. They have also had cats registered red and white tgo later have the owner find a small black dot making them Calico. A fellow breeder friend of mine saw one of those.

So Angels paperwork is in the process of being changed now.

Ok from that picture I would say the one is a hot cream and white. Usually creams are a bit lighter.
