I have to put my cats in another part of the house else they'll climb my legs when I'm working with turkey.

Mine totally ignore human food. If it's not cat food they won't touch it. I tried to give them small pieces of chicken and they refuse.

Same here. I tried to feed her boiled chicken again yesterday, but she refuses to eat it.

Jamie doesn't like poultry, either. I have to add a liitle bit of fish, boiled ham, or cheese to get him to eat it. He loves beef, though.

Mine love chicken in their canned food, but very few of mine will touch turkey. They even turned their noses up at the turkey based Merrick canned food last night. I think this is normal.

Raven LOVED the turkey. And Sparrow did too. He had just nibbled on cat food since arriving here, but he ate that turkey down. I guess because it was more moist? So I bought him some wet catfood.

Excellent. Wet food is much healthier for them anyway. You are lucky he likes it as some of us have had to try many different brands to find one our kitties wouldn't turn their noses up at.

I even broke it into tiny bitty pieces-no go.
So, with turkey, I didn't even try, since they wouldn't touch chicken. I bought them some new chunks in gravy styles food in petsmart. It had natures organic and other kinds of chunks with gravy. I will see how it goes.

Buster loves turkey; however, he is a garbage disposal and doesn't turn down anything (he even ate Lay's potato chips without my knowledge!). However, I do understand why some cats would dislike turkey because it is bland for them. My vet suggested feeding him turkey when he had diarrhea several months ago.

All three of mine love turkey and chicken. It doesn't matter if it's people food, canned cat food or dry cat food.

If it's mine, i have to shut Freya up in the cat room or she'll climb in my plate.
