New kind of litter tray

Has anyone seen this, I went to Petsmart today, and there was a litter tray thingy that cleans and dries the litter, it uses a special kind of litter, blue and white thingies, and when the cat is finished, it actually washes and dries it. It was almost surreal for me to see something like that. Is it any effective?

I just looked under the Litterbox options and liked the product called Kitty Suite (ventilation with negative pressure).

I don't know anyone who ever used that type of litterbox but it sure looks like an interesting concept!
