cat not getting on

hi there ive had my cat raven now for 4 years and recently decided to get another cat (raven is a girl and has been spayed) ive brought a 12 week old tom cat in.......the point beeing she hates him,ive tried giving her more cuddles and fussing over her but no ,she even hisses at us now and will hardly let us pick her up .its been 6 weeks now and nothing has changed but seems to be getting worse ,she comes and goes when she wants ............even confrontation together and shes hissing and raising her paws to claw him. ANY ADVICE WILL BEGOOD

How she feels about him is one thing, but how is he about her - does he attack, scare her into corners, etc? Is he a lot bigger and stronger? If he isn't neutered, you're really asking for trouble as he will certainly try to mount her (is she spayed?) and can be rough if she resists. If she isn't spayed, are you prepared to deal with a litter of kittens? Really both should absolutely be neutered and she shouldn't have to be subjected to his being around if he isn't.

12 weeks old tom cat is about 3 months old. A kitten, so I assume he wants to play more than to mate (unless he is neutered already, in which case he is only being playful)? I think Raven is still unsure about this newcomer. I suggest you read the stickies on introductions. There are lots of advise to help you. And do not worry about her hissing at you, she just probably smells the kitten on you.

he is terrified of her.. she is a lot bigger than him , will she get used him? hes not neutered yet but ive been told ive got to wait till hes 6 months.i try feeding them at different times and try keeping them seperated as raven gets really worked up.
