How long have you been married?

How long have you been married? And how long did you know each other before you got married? Ted & I knew each other 3 months & 2 days when we got married & have been married 29 1/2 years.30 year's in July 2003 And if you are not married,how long have you been with your better half? And yes all my family said it would not last a year!!And half of those who said this have been divorced!At least once.

It will be 16 years end of this month. We met through a personal ad, both of us living in different states. We wrote for four years and I met him twice during that time when I took off for vacation with him. He wanted to see how I would handle Alaska (where he lived at the time)

Bill and I have been an "item", for a year-and-a-half, since July 21, 2001.

We were just best friends for 7 years, and we have been a couple for 18 years as of Valentine's Day. We are still best friends.

I met my partner 7 years ago when I was looking for a place to live (after moving out of my University dorm). As soon as I met him I knew he was the one and moved into his apartment 7 days later!!

We are not married and have no plans to get married. For us, the relationship is perfect the way it is.

Mike and I are not married, but we've known each other for 3 years, we were roommates in college, although not an item then. We're celebrating our 1st anniversiary next weekend though.

I'm not married, but I do hope that someday I will be. My boyfriend (Bill) and I have been together for 3 years. We met through a chat room on the Internet and decided to meet each other after 1 month. Since then, we usually try to see each other every 2 months...either I go there (Chicago) or he comes here & we talk at least 3 times per week. He has taken me to places I thought I never would have seen...Chicago, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio...and soon I'll be going to San Diego this summer and to the Keys of Florida in the fall! We also plan on moving in together sometime this summer (hopefully!), but it depends on where he finds a different job. Right now it's looking like an opportunity in Kentucky or Detroit....it should be pretty interesting to say the least!

My husband who is also my best friend got engaged after five days of knowing each other. We've been married this July five years. We met when I changed jobs and he worked in my building. I wasn't looking for anyone since I had just gotten out of a six year relationship that was hell.

I met him when I was 12.(he was 11) He was my grandparents paper boy.(I'd see him when I visited on weekends) Needless to say I always insisted on getting the paper when he came!
For years...we dated on and off. Mostly weekend dating because we lived far from each other.
I moved here and the rest is history.

Shell - like you, I met hubby on the internet, we talked for about 5 months before I decided to get on the big bird in the sky and married on Dec 23rd, 1999.

We started out as penpals in 1993, met first time at the end of 1999 and fell inlove. Got engaged in 2000 and married 2002, we just had our first wedding anniversary last month.

Rick and I have been married one week and 2 days..lol we were living together for a year and a half before we got married..

3 and a half years...AND I'm older than him! (by 2months).

We were together for over a year before we got married, and friends before that.

Darrell and I were best friends while I dated his best friend "John Doe". After five months of being Darrell's friend and confidante, I dumped John and started dating Darrell, much to the dismay of John. Everybody said it wouldn't work because I was 16 and Darrell was 19. After 5 years of dating we got married and will celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary this July.
