Baby names?

Well, names. Hmmmm. So many choices! How do you pick the right one? We've got 7.5 months to decide but it's a big decision!

I've browsed around a couple of pregnancy and baby forums and there is a nice thread idea that has come up a few times.

It's a thread of the members' children's names in an alphabetic list, and it's for people to get ideas for their babies. I wonder if anyone would like to participate? You could put your own children's names or just names you like.

I thought I would add a little spice to it by saying if anyone adds a name to the list and we end up choosing that name, then I'll give that person a `prize' of 10,000 points!

I only have 20 weeks left and we haven't even thought about it! Want to wait to find out the sex first so we can argue over one set of names and not two!

Yes it is! That's my Grandma's name, but everyone calls her Hattie. (Gramp calls her Hat ) But then she has a funny story about my little Polish Great-Grandma having everyone call her Agnes until she was about 14 when it came out that her real name was Harriet. I don't remember exactly how she found that out, but I remember her laughing about having to tell everyone what her real name was. No one knows where Agnes came from. She said she likes Harriet/Hattie much better!

My girls are names Sydney Taylor and Penelope Brooke

For the one we are expecting if it is a boy we are using the family name of Vaden. My maternal grandfathers middle name. If it is a girl? We have no idea.

Also look back in your family tree to see if there are names you like. There is one name on my wifes side that we would never name a child. That name is Peroxide. No lie

Last addition. Make sure the name you choose is a good yelling name. First middle and last. Makes trying to name a baby a lot more fun. Besides you know that you will be yelling at the youngin at some point in its life.
