Awwww
This is sooo sweet! I walked in the cat room a moment ago to find Jasmine and Isabella laying in their big kitty bed...and right in between them was little 3 legged Jezabel just purring away while her "mommies" groomed her!
I have GOT to get pictures of her when i borrow my mom's camera- she's a darling!!! i swear ya'll will just love her!
She's soo sweet too- she just adores all of our furbabies, especially Isabella and Jasmine
She thinks that they are her mommies!!! Jasmine and Izzy are constantly grooming her and looking over her
Kojak love to play with her too- but he's always careful

Awww that was the sweetest moment ever! I just had to share!

You'll definitely have to get a photo of them, it will be so adorable

Thank you for sharing, that is so wonderful that they are getting along so well!

(i didn't think she'd be able to jump on shelves soo soon- but boy has she suprised me!
), how to steal food when meowmy's not looking....
Kojak LOVES to corrupt my foster kittens, it's his full time job

Too bad you didn't get a photo, that would of been so cute!

It is just soo wonderful to see how all of my furbabies just love her! Even Velvet, my oldest cat who normally wants nothing to do with the foster babies- she likes her
The dogs think she's the greatest thing doggy treats!
They all love her-and she is just as sweet back to them. I've never seen anything like it- they normally don't all share the same response- but Jezabel is special

I am really considering keeping her at this point- our shelter vet has already taken bets with my other coworkers that this kitty won't be leaving my house
How funny is that- she knows me soo well!
She said the same thing about Kojak and he's now a "permanent foster kitten"

I am really wanting to adopt her- but at the same time i'm holding off at the moment because I know that will be too overwhelming on Colin. He went from having 0 animals to having 8 in the span of about a year plus my foster animals so i think having one more permanent baby might be a bit much for him at the moment, so we'll see. He adopted Fosters kind of as a suprise for me, and we had him for a few months and then i brought home my litter of foster kittens Kojak was in. I adopted Kojak as he was the most sickly and would have been pts- at the time i didn't know i would be moving my 3 girls here from my mom's so he ok'd it. Then in Feb. Colin adopted Whiskey as a companion for Fosters. and in May i brought over my 3 girl kitties and my betta from my mom's house....so that's been a lot of changes for Colin to get used to. (He's never had animals in the home before so i don't want to overwhelm him). He loves them all though and is ok with me fostering so that's good

Worst case scenario- Jezabel will stay with us as long as she needs to and then will got to the shelter and be the "shelter cat" until the right home comes along. Under no circumstances will she be pts (already had a long chat with my boss)
So if she is unable to find a permanent home that will be able to care for her properly- she will remain our shelter kitty and will be spoiled rotten up there.
Until then though, she can stay with us as long as she needs to! I'm in no rush to bring her back

No, I'm with Bruce on this one -- and even if Colin does catch on, you can always point out that with only three legs, Jezebel doesn't even count as a whole cat!

See how clever that is? You hit him with logic and elicit sympathy at the same time... his resistance will crumble instantly...

I tried that with Norris, the three-legged dog
(no, it didn't work
)

Although- i can certainly see if he falls for it this time with little Jezabel

I wish that would work- but i don't think it will!
He's already said no more furbabies for now, so i'm really trying to respect that, but i dunno- it's kinda hard to resist that cute little calico face!
