I LOVE this guy's website. It's the best I have ever seen. He has to be a writer and a cat sitter. Look at how he describes his kitties. I wish he was in my service area. Oh well. At least I can enjoy his website:

You're right--he's pretty good at writing. His cats are cute, too. A bit expensive for cat-sitting; but it's probably quality service. Anyway, how can you resist playing with the cats a bit when you come in to feed and change their litter?

It sounds strange, people being paid to do something they probably would do for free anyway because they're cat fanatics.

It would be interesting to know how well this works because not all cats are going to interact at all with a minder until they know them very well.
Sister had considered something like this next month for when she goes on holiday, but her feline children hate new people and would end up running away, so they are going to be 'minded' at parents home.

There are lots of cat sitters in Seattle. For people who don't have family to take care of their cats or neighbors who will, it is their only solution. I wouldn't do it because I have a solo cat, and the thought of him being alone for all day and night with just a short visit from a stranger to feed him and play with him would break my heart for him. He is so people oriented and always wants to be around us. I haven't left him alone yet without someone I know spending the night - or house-sitting. And that's how I would do it. But for others, it's a good idea. I just thought his website was really cute!
