Around late July this year a small female cat that appeared and stayed around the house, a few weeks later we noticed it was pregnant and before we knew it there was 5 baby kittens. The mother seems to have left a few months after they were born because we only see her once and a while now.

We managed to find one a home and sadly one of the others got hit by a car when we weren't around.

Were left with 3 and they are getting to be fairly big, what I'm asking is what should we do for the winter. We don't mind feeding them or anything but I can't allow them to go inside the house. Anyone who lives in New England ( I live in New Hampshire) knows that we have cold winters often with large amounts of snow. Will they make it through the winter fine? If not what can we do to make sure they do, ex: maybe build a small shelter.

I really don't have much experience in this kind of thing but advice is welcome.

Thanks
~Chris
