The other night I'm watching Ghost Hunters and the house they were in they decided to look into the attic.

Well the attic happened to look very similar to our attic. They heard creepy noises in there during the episode that lead them to believe that something was going on.

Now, tonight my chore is to move some boxes into the attic. I've made it so far as getting up the stairs and turning the light on (ps it's dark out right now) and any little noise that I hear up there I gasp.

Sooooo...this just isn't going to work out until there is daylight outside.

(ps, just to brief, this is my first house that has an attic that I'm allowed up in. Even before the episode the attic gave me a creepy vibe).

All my life I've had a repeater dream about a three-storey house with a haunted third floor, so all three-storey houses are spooky to me. Attics are often on the third storey so they are just naturally creepy!

Careful where you step in the attic if it's unfinished. You don't want to fall through the ceiling downstairs.

Don't feel bad!

When I was 17 I saw the movie "Amityville Horror". My bedroom was in the basement of the house in a curtained off area of the recroom. The bathroom down there was located directly under the stairs, the same as in the movie. The door was not a real door, it was a piece of plywood on hinges with a hook and eye type latch.

After seeing the movie I couldn't go down to the basement and I slept on the couch with all of the lights on for weeks and weeks. My brother and his wife and kids had to go down to get my clothing etc because I had a panic attack everytime I thought about going down to the basement.

To this day basements scare me, though I can go down them. However, if there is a door under the stairs, nothing short of being pushed down the stairs will get me to go down!

Oh my Grandmother did that once. Well she stepped off the finished part. My Grandfather came home to find her legs dangling in the living room. Gram was fine, except for her bruised pride!

My step-siblings love to watch horror movies and things and then sleep with all the lights on together in the living room. Drives my Mother crazy!

OK, the attic isn't creepy during the daytime and less "noises" that scare me.

Although I did have a brief fright when I was up there on the walkable area and turned around to see B's head peaking up through the entrance

Poor Whitey wanted to come up to inspect. I told him there are bad things up there.
