I'm stuck for ideas as to what to get Beauty for Christmas. She doesn't like playing, so that's toys out. Mum's getting her a tin of tuna, so tuna's out. I don't know what everyone else is getting her I just want to get something original, which she can use or eat.

Any ideas?

Does she have a favorite way of napping? I.e. does she like to crawl under the covers on your bed to snooze, or does she find a laundry basket to get into? If so, consider getting her a cat bed - they come in so many versions, you can find one she could crawl into and feel slightly "hidden" in

Lots of attention and love is always the best present any kitty can have.

a small cat tree is nice too.

We had a cat bed but she prefers sleeping either on the settee or on one of the chairs in the kitchen

They do make cat blankets and thin catnip mats (if she likes catnip) so she could sleep/shed (hah!) on this instead of the chair or settee cover

I don't know how she'll do with catnip. I could try her with it.

I can only try!

Is it a big budget or small budget?

how about something like this:
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/s...ts/large/36487
am getting it for own kitty when moved in to new place.
sister has got a smaller one like that and the cats use it most of the time,
cats like to remind people they are better than everyone by looking down on everyone on those.

As are in Yorkshire, are there any marks and spencers nearby?
They do special christmas cat food every year-in cat trays-one of them is christmas dinner-and it comes with a tray of cat dessert [a mousse type thing]-all the cats here fight over it.
selfridges is also a good place for small things for cats, like nice cat bowls, cat grass, catnip, cat toys, cat beds etc.

We don't have space for a cat tree.

I could try in Marks and Spencers though.
