I came home for lunch and spike and Fang were snoozing away, but no Pansy, who usually greets me. I didn't think anything of it, and went into the basement to turn off the outside water, and the basement door was open! My heart sank, I ran out and started calling Pansy, and he comes slinking from the back of the yard under a bush, yowling at the top of his lungs. Of course he runs past me and into the basement, slinking the whole time. He was really freaked out. I have a feeling the other two were out too, but had enough sense to come back in. The door is usually locked, but I may have just pushed it shut after the wood guy came, and Pansy will work on the bottom of a door until it is open. Too dumb to come back in. He is such a scardy cat, I bet he thinks twice before he pulls that stunt again.
