Might have to take Popsie to vet

This past week Popsie has been throwing up frequently. I'd say he's barfed once a day or every other day. He doesn't really groom anymore but latley he has been so it might be just hair irritating his tummy. If it continues though he's going to the vet.

Yeah I think it's best to take kitty to the vet. Could just be hairballs but could be something not good. Is he still eating/drinking?

Yeah, he's eating and drinking normal.

My cat was very sick and still eating and drinking, until it got REALLY bad then she stopped. I'm glad I took her when I did because she was backed up (megacolon) and it was not pretty. But it is a good sign that he is eating and drinking.

Ok, over the weekend Popsies' appetite has gone down. He's only eating a couple of bites of his wet and not much of dry in between. He's still barfing every other day as well. I'm trying to get my mom to loan me money to take him to the vet this week. If not I'll have to wait until next Friday when DH gets paid. I'm awful worried to wait that long though. Other than the puking and not eating good he's fine. By the way, what are some things that can cause him to lose his appetite?

One thing is jumping out at me:
cancer

My Aunt's cat had cancer....stomach cancer. She lost her appetite, was vomiting, etc.

Yeah, that has crossed my mind. He is 16 years old.

If your mom won't loan you the $$, is there a vet who will put you on a payment plan? The sooner Popsie goes to the vet, the better. Because he likely isn't eating enough to sustain himself & if it is not anything terminal....the not eating is not good for him, either.

Well the vet I take him to will let you just pay a little bit and then pay the rest within thirty days. I'd imagine they will do blood work and what not so I'm not sure how much that would cost. I figure at least 100 bucks and I'd like to pay at least half up front.
