I love Raven. And I was totally ready to make the decision to have her be an only cat. But honestly I am tired of being attacked all the time! She stalks me down the hallway, she pounces on my hands and feet. I am covered with stratches, she bites me as well. She is not being mean, she is just being a playful kitten. And better me than my kids right? But I have been wondering if she had a kitten friend if they would play and I would be "hunted" less.
Is a friend for Raven the solution to my problems?

Trinity used to do that to me when we first got her. As soon as I got home she would attach herself to me because she wanted to play. I didn't intend on getting her a friend to help the problem but that is what she decided needed to happen. One day, Bentley showed up on my front porch, Trinity was meowing very loudly at the door so I opened it and in came Bentley! As soon as he came around. . . she got 100% better on the attacking thing. I can't say this will definately be the case with every cat, but I know it did work for me!

LOL, that is what Raven does to me, she attatches herself to me. She wraps her paws around my leg like she is hugging me.

Maybe I need to talk my husband into getting me a friend for Raven for Christmas! An early Christmas present.

I think that with kittens, a lot of it is that they don't know they are hurting you. When Trinity was first a little too rough with Bentley, he would squeal at her and run away. She learned really quick that attack mode kitty was not going to have a friend to play with. I have heard people say that you could try squealing when she attaches herself to you. I high pitched sound like another cat would make should help to get the point across.

It does sound like she's desperate for a playmate. I believe two cats are easier than one, and this is one of the reasons. Get her one now, while she's young. It's been known to work miracles.
