Hi everyone, I'm a kitten here!!

Hi everyone, I'm Sparkle Fairy.

I live in SE London and am the proud owner of Annie, a 2/3 year old tortie, who I adopted in April this year.

She was dumped at a vets with no details left about a week before I visited the shelter I got her from. Lucky for her she only had to stay there for 2 weeks (for her jabs and op) before I took her to her new home.

She is a right little character who melts my heart everyday. I know Torties can be quite tempermental, but I'm very lucky with her. She is my furry bundle of joy...

I find that torties can be very affectionate, but very mischievious. It's called Tortie-tude here!!!

Hello & welcome to tcs. My 16 y/o cat, Coco, is a torty & a real little b#@*ch at times. Although she always comes to greet me when I come home. How stupid am I when I was told about 5 yrs ago about the torty temperament. Blossom, my nearly 15 m/o was cat rescued at 3 weeks old & not readily recognised as a torty, till the vet told me not long after I got her. I made sure she got lots of cuddles & affection so she wouldn't be another Coco. I think it worked.

My Lilly is a tortie and she sometimes has "tortitude", but mostly she is a really sweet girl. She's on my lap now as I type
