I love this one!

You have two coins equalling 25c. One of them is not a nickle. What two coins do you have?

To keep the game going, when you answer, post one of your own!

That's mathematically not possible. Coins come in the following denominations:

1 cent
5 cents
10 cents
25 cents (quarter)

Now if that 25 cents is a typo and should be 30 cents, then you would have 1 quarter (which is not a nickle), and 5 cents.

Yeah I dont see thats possible either. If it was $.55 then you could have a half dollar and a nickle.

i thought the riddle was you have 2 coins equalling 30 cents. One of them is not a nickel.
????

If that's the number then the two coins are a quarter and a nickel (one of them is not a nickel...but the other is!!)

In the snow!!!!
They had that one on the Cosby show back in the day.

My Fav riddle is a nursery rhyme:
"On my way to St Ives, I met a man with seven wives
Each wife had seven sacks
Each sack had seven cats
Each cat had seven kits
Kits, Cats, Sacks, Wives, how many were going to St Ives?"

I know it's not possible, and it bugged me all night

It's FIFTEEN cents, not 25
