I'm sure this has been answered before, but here goes anyway. I have a new home with a large building for my new Animal Rescue. I'll be moving the rescue cats to the new building in about a month. What will be the best way for me to move my three outside cats? I don't want to just leave them outside at the new place, although now they will have a HUGE stable to stay in to keep out of the weather better. I have dogs, too, that love my cats and that's okay, but there are a ton of "neighborhood" dogs that come onto the property uninvited. I want to acclimate the cats as best I can and I could probably lock them in the stable for awhile. I'll also be putting up more fencing as soon as I can to keep those other dogs out. I didn't have any problems with my two female (feral) cats, I'm mainly concerned about my male cat--he likes to roam a little! Any suggestions??

I would lock them in the stable for awhile. This way they will learn their food is there and they can explore the stable first. Then they will know the stable is their comfort place to return to when they are allowed to roam.
