I get subpoenaed two to three times a year because people don't want to take responsibility for breaking the law! I hate having to change my plans because they want their record cleared. Now I have to reschedule my vet appointment for my puppy for the second time now!!!! At least I get paid for gas I guess

PS, I'm a nark for the police, I've been working with them since I was 16.

Sorry, nark means you tell on people pretty much.

My dad's friends were all officers in our home town and that's how I got into it when I was 16-18. Then I took some criminal justice classes and my professor loved me and asked me if I was interested, of course I was!

I've just googled it and this came up

4. 1. To snitch on a person means to tell someone in authority that the person has done something bad or wrong. She felt like a fifth-grader who had snitched on a classmate. = grass.
5. A snitch is a person who snitches on other people. = grass. someone who is not liked because they tell people in authority when other people do things that are wrong or against the rules = sneak

A narc is a term for a narcotics agent or police informant who provides information to the police about drug offenders. It is often used to refer to undercover agents, rather than police officers. Also, some drug offenders, once caught, turn into informants as part of an agreement with the police to avoid charges.
