Well, Jezabel will be going into the shelter with me later on today (yea i should REALLY get to sleep- i have to be at work by 7am
). She will hopefully get the ok from the vet for us to take her stitches out!

But another setback- she somehow has hurt her other back leg and has what looks to be a tiny absess that's starting to develop on the inside of her leg, so i'm hoping the antibiotics knock it out! (keep your fingers crossed!!!) Could we get some "please get better little 3 legged kitten vibes" ?
It just seems like one thing after another with my poor little girl!
I know she's ready to get out of that e-collar too!!!

Poor little girl. Nikki just keeps being mean to you, but it's for your own good!

Great News- The Stitches Came Out Today!!!
My little girl FINALLY can get a little relief without having those stitches in!
The vet said the amputation site FINALLY looked well enough to take the stitches out -so i removed them today!
(she was NOT happy when i was taking them out
she's a little spit fire
)

The vet said to keep an eye on the spot on the other leg (it's like a tiny open wound- i'm watching it closely hoping it doesn't abcess (the vet said it wasn't there yet- but could easily get that way). So she's on antibiotics, and i'm watching her carefully. If the spot gets worse- the e-collar goes back on. Until then, she doesn't have to wear it!

Thanks for those vibes everyone! They really helped!
I'm going to keep Jezabel for a while longer until i feel like she's well enough to be placed for adoption (probably not for a few more weeks at the least, she can stay with us as long as she needs to
).

Update on my little rugrat- she's going much better today!
The spot on the other leg (non amputated one!) is looking a tinsy bit better today!
She's not been messing with it so she gets to go w/o the e-collar!

all of my own kitties just adore her- they're constantly playing with her and bathing her
it's really sweet! If i could keep her i would, because they all get along SOOOO well!
