EVERYTHING!
I'm loving this one because this is going to be my first holiday season with everything done my way since I'm only living with my best friend! So we dont have to do things moms way!
I LOVE decorating and making presents for everyone and seeing all of my family! And the music! I cant pick

My boys are at an age where they are really going to enjoy this Christmas. Derek is 18 months and Kevin will be 3 in February. So what I look forward to most is seeing their reaction to everything, from the tree, to the presents, to Santa. I expect this to be a very joyful holiday. I don't even need any presents!

Buying thoughtful gifts for people & seeing the look on their faces when they open the presents
Other then that, we are not really into holidays. But we do love seeing other peoples decorations they put up
The holidays are full of cheer & you can't help but smile during them

Same as you but in reverse.....Food and family
You know families, they always have that one person that makes the get together great or horribly terrible!

This one, might be weird though, because my great uncle died this summer.
He was my grandpa's last living sibling that he REALLY cared about. His first brother died in WWII with him and now his younger brother just died, poor grandpa

All I look forward to is getting through them. It would be nice to get through them without a major depressive episode. Actually, I'd like to go into hibernation around Halloween and wake up sometime after Valentine's day. That way I could miss the whole goat-rodeo....The extremely rude holiday shoppers (and salespeople), the stupid music, the over eating, the nasty return lines (and overworked, frustrated salespeople) at the stores, and the whole lovey-dovey, togetherness crap of Valentines Day.

Bah Humbug!!!

A nice piece of downtime. And of course the food and friends and family -- though with Rob's Mum gone now, I'm guessing there will not be a big family gathering and each branch will do its own thing. Fine by me -- quiet is also good.

Shopping for other people for Christmas. I am more of a giver than a receiver and wouldn't have it any other way.
I love when people have smiles on their faces on Christmas morning on what you got them.
I also love the great food and family gatherings.

I used to love Christmas but now I don't. I don't look forward to any of it. The stress and depression around this time of year is to much for me. And the cost just adds more terrible feelings. I wish I could get my family to skip it and volunteer to help the needy instead. I hate to be a scrooge but I just don't feel like Christmas is about what it should be.
