My mom, sister and nieces are just thrilled with their, in my sister's words, "gorgeous wreaths". Since they have dogs and cats, I've told them about Ari's naughtiness.

I got an email from my younger niece today, raving about the wreaths. She and her boyfriend don't have much in the way of Christmas decorations yet, so they're both over the moon about their wreath.

Will you be selling these wreaths in the "off" season? I just love love love them, but right now, I don't have the money. I may have more money in the Spring or Summer, or maybe even later in the winter. I really would love to be able to get one.

My guess is that it would be easier on Karen if you ordered "off season", particularly if you have certain color combinations in mind. I meant to order in September, but procrastinated, and ended up imposing on her just before Thanksgiving with an order for 4 in particular colors. They're really beautiful! My mom, sister and two nieces are just thrilled with them.

It wasn't an imposition, Tricia. I have at least two more I need to get out by Christmas.

It is easier on me if you order in the off-season, but if you have specific color combinations you are looking for, it may be harder for me to do in the off-season, since Christmas ribbon isn't available then. I have tons of Christmas ribbon, but there are some colors that are harder to come by, like dark green or burgandy without gold. I'm going on a dark green hunt this morning. My pan is to not "pack away" the ribbon this year and keep making wreaths and stockpiling them to do a craft show next year. I was planning on doing that last year, but with all that went on with my father was unable to.

Hope, if you know what colors you want it would be better if you could tell me now so I can make sure I have the ribbon here, no strings attached of course.

I know I am going to want Burgundy, Green and Gold. I'd also like to get an Autumn Wreath in Orange, Gold, and Brown, and a Hanukkah Wreath next winter in Blue and Yellow, with maybe a little White. I'll probably want the smaller wreaths, because they will be easier to hang up high enough so Simba won't be able to get at them.

I always have burgandy/green/gold. I have some Fall ribbon, but not a lot. I do not have any Hanukkah ribbon and have never seen any in the sotres.

I just picked up a few rolls of black and gold yesterday. It wouldn't go in my house either. I have a really cool black/purple/silver one that I need to get on Etsy, but that doesn't go in my house either.

I'm really considering getting one of the smaller ones for my MIL this year. She's coming out to visit for Christmas. (Yes, I'm actually happy about this. ) I just need to get Earl to ask her for her favorite or decorating colors.

I figured this would be a good travelling gift because they can be squished into a suitcase and reshaped and look just as good when she gets there! Of course, knowing Diane she'll just have the box re-shipped to her house but that's OK too. At least she would have the option.
