Jasmine is SOOOOOO weird! Do any of your kitties do this lol??

I'm sitting here just laughing my butt off at Jasmine! She's such a goofy kitty! She just ran here into the living room with her toy ball (big hot pink fluffy one) and then dropped it on the floor then proceeded to "tap dance" on top of it- kicking her legs violently, swinging her tail...it's hilarious!!!! She'll then get it under her belly and slide over it and start kicking it again

She then proceeds to pick it up a few minutes later then fling it hard on the floor again and repeat the process. The whole time she does this- she meows at the top of her lungs fussing at her toy!

Please tell me my kitty isn't the only weirdo who does this?

Portia's favourite toy at the moment is a long piece of elastic, she just can't get enough and meows her head off at me if I don't play with her all the time

Does she kick it with her back feet? My guys do that and it's sooo funny.

That is so cute! Charlies been doing something new. I bought a fishing rod toy that has a big stringy pom pom on the elastic, and if he's in the right mood, he will lock his jaws onto it and do those low meows like he's just caught a bird or mouse! Seems he still remembers to hunt even after being indoors for 6 months . The funny thing is that i try playing tug of war with him, and eventually when i give in he runs down the hall and as soon as the plastic wand hits the floorboards he runs like mad because he thinks it's chasing him! And he doesn't let go till he's at least done two full circles around the lounge, then he figures it out

You are not alone. Cello does something similar. He first sits on the toy and then tap dances on it. He doesn't meow though.

Molly carries her toys around and meows loudly and beats the daylights out of it.

Lucky walks around with his sock when he is ready for bed. Sometimes he brings it in the bedroom if I am not awake.

Yeah, the bunny kicks OMG, they are SO funny

Trout will walk up to a toy..then keep walking on top of it until its under her butt..I'm thinking "is she going to pee on it?"..then she flings it up with her back feet and proceeds to bunny kick it

My guys do that too. It's sooooo funny. They'll walk up to it lash their tail around, dance on it, or sometimes just stomp it with one foot (which is REALLY silly ) and if they get really into it they flop on it and bunny kick the heck out of it. Stimpy loves to do that to his banana & yellow mousie. Raven does it to puffballs, and Nabu, well he's kind of special so he does it to some really odd objects sometimes. It's so cute!

My two do similar things too! Felix has a thing about pens, and loves to bat them about the room - then he sits on it, then hides it under the rug from Gillan!!!!
