Hi. I have Five snow bengal kittens kittens that are 2 weeks & 1 day old, they have conjunctivitis. I noticed it yesterday when I was evaluating how each was doing, and I am treating it how I did with a litter my family fostered last year that got it when they were 2 weeks old, by soaking a cotton pad in warm water and then brushing away the crusty parts. It went away after a few days with that litter, but what i'm worried about with this litter is that they are sneezing and crusty stuff is forming from that around their noses.

Is it further along then I thought and will just wiping it away with warm water help at all or do I need to take them to the vet??

Ellie(the mom) doesn't have it(yet!).

Thanks for any information!!!!

I usually just let these things run their coarse, I personally think it makes them less likely to catch it so easily in the future. But that is a minority way of thinking I suppose. I just do the same thing you do and also make sure they continue to eat and drink, hydration is very important, get them some smelly wet food and warm it up to make it more appetizing and smelly if they have stuffy noses and keeps their water intake up as well. Keep them warm and in a few days they should be fine. If things are getting worse, then take them to to the vet.

I guess I would question if they are even eating any kind of food other than mother's milk at 2 weeks. I'm probably right out to lunch on this one, but I thought they usually were closer to 4-5 weeks before they ate kitten food.
