This is strange

When DH worked nights I ended up on his schedule. Popsie wouldn't sleep with me during the day. He would sleep in the linen closet. Now DH is on days and I'm back to sleeping at night. Popsie sleeps in bed with me now like he used to. Why would me sleeping during the day or night make a difference with him sleeping with me.

I guess he's not tired, or it's not part of his schedule.

Cats have different sleeping spots for different times of the day.
Mine like to nap in the living room during the day, bed in the evening or on the floor near it, and in the window at night. This changes sometimes, depending on it the front door or blinds are open - then they sleep in the sun.

It's also possible that you moved around too much during the day. Some people don't sleep as soundly then. And cats are more nocternal too, natural habit for many is to find somewhere to hide during the day and nap.

Good points. All that matters is that he's sleeping with me again. I missed him when he wasn't.
