It's so funny. I Have a 9-5 job during the week, kind of busy evenings and I spend my weekends lounging, catching up on housework, groceries laundry etc. I have started to notice a pattern with my siamese. He is always so active when I get up in the morning, he waits at the door meowing around 5-5:30pm when I get home and is always ready for action. I guess being a new cat mommy I didn't really think about what he does during the day. Well the answer is sleep.

Now that I've been observing on weekends I don't feel so bad leaving him alone all day!! On the weekend he gets up and goes crazy for about an hour (when I'd be up getting ready for work, feeding and playing with him) then he just SLEEPS!! I can't entice him to do anything!!!!! He may sleep on my lap if I'm watching a movie but thats it!!! Then at around 5 he gets up and starts getting restless for play and interaction again even though I've been home and trying to play with him all day!!!

I know it makes total sense, and it just makes me love him even more! Everything I learn about him!

I'm sure my DSH does the same, but she is still at the vets............but COMING HOME TODAY!!!

Snowball does the same thing. But I've noticed if I'm home for several days in a row, he will stay awake a little longer in the morning so he can spend more time with me.
