Gotta love Grand Openings!

A new Lane Bryant had their Grand Opening today. Which means that today and today only EVERYTHING in the store was 40% off! I really needed new work pants, and for that price I couldn't resist. So I got 2 pairs of really nice dress slacks and 2 really pretty new tops. It was a total splurge on myself - I almost never get anything that isn't on clearance, let alone a "new" look. I spent a little over $100 , but I SAVED $85!

Ah, Heidi ... you are a woman after my own heart. I do love shopping and I do love clothes and most importantly, I do love a bargain. *grin* I wish I could have gone with when you went to Lane Bryant ... I so miss having a girl's day of shopping therapy. The only things I have purchased lately were two pairs of men's Wrangler jeans (I hate the way "women's" jeans fit me - I look like a bowling pin!) from Wal-Mart two weeks ago this upcoming Sunday ... and now they are too big. I desperately need new clothes but I just can't put ANY money into anything at the moment because I keep changing sizes so quickly. Thank the stars for lounge wear that can be worn in public without looking like one is wearing one's jammies.
