Hi all, as some of you know pickles was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in 2004 and under went surgery. (if you are interested in all the info you can just type a search in squamous cell carcinoma pickles). Well at any rate, Pickles has had a lump on his side right behind his shoulder, the lump had gotten to the point where it was the size of a softball. We decided to take him into the vets today as we were concerned and wanted to have him looked over. Well they drained 500 cc's from the lump, and have sent it off to the lab, he may have to have surgery to remove the pocket where the stuff was drained, we will know that sometime next week, depending on what the results of his test are. We are hoping for a good out come. I know you all will be praying for us. You have been so wonderful, and I can't ever "Thank You" all enough. Other then that he has been fine, they did tell us he has a heart murmur and something is up with his thyroid, so we are taking things one step at a to time, we just want him to get better. They did tell us they werent' sure if the lump was originally caused from a vaccine he had for rabies, (as he wasn't up to date on his rabie shot), we asked if the would give him the shot but they said they wanted to wait to see if this is what caused the original problem. I am just hoping it isn't the cancer, and that it has spread, they also said that the reason he may have done so well at this point was because they may have gotten the original cancer in 2004. We can only hope he makes it through his next round with this new problem. Well I just wanted to let you all know and will keep you updated.

Thanks Again for all your warm thoughts and for helping me through all of this, I truly am greatful too all of you.
