I have a friend who is considering adopting a kitten from a breeder who strictly feeds all her kittens/cats raw meat that she prepares. These kittens have been eating raw meat ever since they could eat solids, and the breeder, herself, despises dry and canned food. The problem is my friend doesn't want to feed raw food to her kitten/cat. Nothing against raw food, but some people don't have the time or resources to make specialty food for the felines. I know I don't.
Is it possible for a kitten that only knows raw meat to be able to adapt and change to eating regular dry and canned food?... premium quality, of course!

yes they will adapt ... i would say an all canned diet would be better since raw is the usual for the kitten... BUT your friend will HAVE TO feed the RAW for a few weeks while gradually introducing canned
