hi, i'm new here, i already posted one question, but now i'm formally introducing myself. I have two cats, one is 8 years old male, damian, a domestic long hair, and a 5 month old male, max, a domestic short hair, both orange. Hehe, those orange boys just have the best personalities! damian is not at all thrilled about max and is still mad at me for bringing him home, it's only been a month. damian is getting better, but he still won't sleep in my room anymore. max just wants to be his friend and play with him, but damian is getting old and grumpy and ignores him to an extent.
right now i'm having feeding issues. damian was my mom's cat and all she fed him was 9-lives wet and for the past year he has been on C/d dry for complete blockage from crystals. damian is not a big wet food eater, and when he does eat, most of the time he just throws it up, but he is getting to be overweight. he is an indoor/outdoor kitty who stills loves to hunt and eat mice, so we get frequent worming.
max i am feeding nutro kitten dry and some nutro kitten pouches, he does not like any of the can stuff i've tried. he does, however, like the crappy 9-lives damian gets, probably because damian eats it, he wants everything damian does.
growing up i always had lots of cats, but have not had a kitten in at least 15 years (we got damian when he was over a year old). this whole crazy kitten is quite fun, we've never had any cat play with toys like this one. max also will chase his tail, attack his shadow and hiss at the kitty in the mirror. the best thing he does...he loves to play with water, especially in the bathroom sink.
