Ugh, my nose was stuffed up on one side last night, and now all day it's been runny and I've been sneezing every 5 minutes. Headache, backache, sore throat, and all around icky feeling. Pooey!


I just want to go home and curl up under some warm covers and never come out. But I have a PSY101 test in an hour, and I can't really call out at work tomorrow because I'm actually covering for my friend who's been having HUGE emotional issues lately (left her husband 2 weeks ago & trying to work things out, and some other stuff thrown in) and they doubt she will be at work tomorrow. PLUS, I already had Friday & Monday off as Funeral Leave, so I haven't been at work much. GAHHH.

I can relate to that! I had a bad cold last week, and managed to rupture a blood vessel in my left eye with a huge sneeze. The whole white of my eye was blood red. Right now, I have a huge red halo around the iris. I obviously can't take off work for cosmetic reasons, so I've been trying to downplay it, meaning no contact lenses, and no cosmetics to emphasize my eyes. My classes have obviously asked what happened. I had to laugh today, because one young woman told me it looked horrible, and reminded her of the "Terminator", so now I have a "Terminator eye"! Oh, well. It should be gone in about two weeks, and until then, I can scare people with my "Argus eye".

My fever finally broke last night but I'm still stuck with a runny nose, post nasal drip and everything in between. I hope you're able to snuggle up in your bed with your kitties tonight and get a good night's rest.

Lots of rest and fluid, one V8 per day (small one) and ibuprofene or aspirin for headache...

Doctor's orders!

I keep getting sneezes comin' on, and then they linger, my eyes water, and then they go away! Ack!!

I hope my kitties want to make their Mommy feel better and snuggle up nice with me! Especially after Monte just ate a piece of my pastrami in my sub sandwich when I wasn't looking!! If they don't comply, at least I can snuggle with Rob
