I am thinking about getting one of these for my cats http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...=11-36999154-2. They usually only drink from running water and it is a hassle to leave the faucet dripping and not a reliable way to make sure they get enough water. Does anyone have one of these (or any brand like it) or have they heard anything about them? Any info would be great, thanks! I don't know if this matters but I have 2 female cats, one is 1 and one is 1 and a 1/2/ Thanks!

I had one given to me as a gift for my kitty. He also only drinks from a running tap, water from shower wall, etc.. He absolutely loves it and sits pawing at it until I switch it on for him. Sounds like your cats would like it a lot

I have a Petmate Deluxe, the kittens all love it. It's practically silent (I have it in my room) and I find it easy to clean.

I also have a CatIt in storage over at mums until I move, I got that after seeing how much they liked the Petmate.

We have the CatIt and our 2 love it. The water is constantly being filtered and run over the dome.

I've used a PetMate fountain for years and love it. I recently bought a DrinkWell like the one you posted a link to and hate it cuz it is so noisy. The PetMate is silent.

I just bought the drinkwell platinum which has a submerged motor which is suppose to make it quieter then the original. I think it's pretty quiet, a low hum from the motor, and a light sound from the water dropping. It does occasionally bother me when my cats are drinking from the top part of the stream. I like it overall and am very happy I bought it. By the way, there're a lot of reviews on amazon for all these fountains.

I just bought my third Drinkwell. Not because the first two broke, but to add a third - the cats and I absolutely LOVE them.

I bought all of mine on eBay and saved at least $10 per set up, including delivery over retail prices. I got the 50 oz reserviors for each as well, and one cleaning kit.

They sound like a fishtank running - the "noise" doesn't bother me at all.

I have the Petmate Deluxe. My kitty loves it. It's quiet, holds a lot of water and is easy to clean. Babee drinks so much more water now..best purchase I've made.

I just made a different water landing out of plastic for my drinkwell platinum and now I barely can hear the water falling, it's so much better now. I guess Drinkwell could have designed it to be more quiet.
