One of our kittens died :(

Tonight my toddler was playing with the kittens (they are shut in a room with a childproof doorknob that evidently is no longer childproof to my toddler, we don't allow him with them unsupervised) and dropped or threw one of the kittens and we think it's neck was broken. He came up and told us the kitten had an owie and we ran down and the poor thing was completely still and gasping for breath. He was gone within about 15 minutes. Hubby and I were both bawling and toddler of course didn't understand and kept asking if the kitty was ok. We are so sad. His name was Devil and he was so feisty and fun. RIP little kitty.

I'm so sorry! What a terrible way to find out the doorknob covers don't work anymore! He must be a strong little guy! There are worse ways though- I am just glad that your baby is okay, and that he only got ahold of one, and knew well enough to come and tell you that something was wrong...Again, so sorry!
