Strangers...

Whenever my Choo Choo baby meets someone new, he'll sniff them for a minute be immediately after they even get within 3 feet of touching him, he freaks out and starts hissing. He's gotten to the point where it's a pain to have him around when people come over. People are here a lot so I know he doesn't get used to it... any ideas? Thank you

It's not really common, but it does happen. It can be as simple as a personality issue or a medical one. If it's that severe, and you have people over on a regular basis, I would talk to a vet about a prescription to help work things out. They usually don't need to be on them very long and then they wean them off. Usually they don't go back to the old behavior pattern.
