Miracle Max's 2nd Day in Massachusetts

He's extremely camera shy, as you can see...







He's been investigating and into EVERYTHING:







He kicked Ginger off the top of HER condo from HER special seat...






Boy oh boy did THAT tick her off!







She complained to me, "Moooooom, that yucky new BOY is on my spot! That's MY SPOT!!! Make him get off, please?" (Gosh, she is just SO gorgeous to me. )






As you can see, Ferris is treating the new kid pretty well...





Ferris is interested, and a little worried, but not too worried:







Max is extremely opinionated about his new environment and roommates, and has much to say about the whole thing:






He checks out some of the toys...this one looks like it might be fun...






...but this one must be KILLED!






Penny is not happy at all. "I don't like him, Mom. I'm not coming out until the new kid leaves."







Ginger says, "Yeah. Boys are yucky."






Max takes a brief rest period. (Note the horrible choice of linoleum on my bathroom floor. I have to live with it. )

Max likes the view from Ginger's special spot: "I can see cars and trucks from up here!"





Penny says, "I still don't like him, Mom."






"I'm a big, scaaaary leopard hiding up in the trees, RRRRROWRRRR!"





"Boy, these treats are a little hard for a big scary, leopard to chew..."






"Will you be my new Meowmy and love me lots and lots and lots? It's very important to me, you know."





Ferris says, "OK, Mom. I guess the new kid can stick around. He's ok, I guess."

Wow Mr Max sure is fitting in quite well, and making himself at home. Simba was like that too, when I brought him home as a kitten. No one messed with him, and he became king of the house and still is.

Isn't it funny how Penny was in the same home with Max before she came to live with you, and she's having the hardest time adjusting? I hope she gets to the point where she like Max. I'm sure she'll get to the point where she can accept him into the family, but it looks like it's going to take a little more time with her.

They are all beautiful. Max just took his place and the other cats just have to get used to it, that is great. He will bring Penny around, at least to the point that she is resigned to him being there.

Max is a cutie!! Don't you love his eyes? Than you get to look at Penny's gorgeous green eyes and say WOW! I love that about my boys. Magnum has gold and Takoda green.
