Since moving to our apartment, I have seen several of the neighborhood cats. I walked to the mailbox last night and saw a very pretty orange cat. I always to to the cats but normally they run from me. Understandable since they don't know me. Well this cat was walking in front of me and I started talking to him as normal, telling him I wanted to pet him. Well, he stopped walking and looked up at me. He turned around and ran up to me and after smelling my hand, let me give him a couple pets on the head! It was like he understood my words!!!
I am happy that I am still able to see kitties. Hopefully in a year or two, I can afford the pet deposit and get me another kitty. I am happy that my babies were adopted. They were only on the shelter website for 2 days! Some of the kitties had been there for weeks!
