I need vibes. I've been given an opportunity to do consultanting work and I need help with writing a contract for it. Any ideas or free websites I can look at? I'm scared (it will be my full time job) I'm being "downsized" at the end of the year with my current job. A job, I love. So I'm scared & excited at the same time, I need major vibes.

I dont know the exact website but if you listen to dave ramsey or goto his website, there is a link to a site that has forms for all sort of things. Including various types of contracts. From what I understand those forms are or can be state specific. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah

Thank you, I'm scared since I'm going be losing my job at the end of the year, my job with benefits. But I need a simple contract for web design, and other work. Does Word have one other program? Or anyone here have a contract I could follow?

Have you looked into having a lawyer draw one up for you? Granted it will be money out of your pocket, but still it'll be a legit contract. Often times if you do a google search, some lawyers post pre written posted on their web site that you can download for $50 or so.

The dangerous thing about writing your own is if there is anything in them that disagrees or contradicts, the contract can be considered null and void. just FYI.

Here's a sight that has some sample ones: http://contracts.onecle.com/type/2.shtml
