Before and After --> Siamese

Here are pictures of my Siamese Cello, the first one before I adopted him at the shelter. Overweight, kinda yucky coat, shedding like crazy



Now after 3 months of a super healthy diet, exercise and a furminator

Even his expression is better. The 1st one had so much anxiety and now he looks so content. Great job.

Slightly, he has always been very saucy, and he had a bit of a UTI when I got him, so his activity level went through the roof when he got rid of that and started getting some good food and daily excercise. he actually came from a very nice shelter, and a nice home previously, never had TOO hard a life.......just getting crappy food at the shelter and his first owner got sick (why she had to give him out) hence why his coat and weight went to hell. He has definitely become a lot more affectionate I think since he realized he's home, and king of the castle........

It's funny.....when I first got him I thought he might be a mixed breed, maybe a bit of russian blue. But now that he is cleaned up you can tell he is a lilac point, and a siamese through and through in every other respect..... he's an older boy though, 7, which is why his coat is still a little dark

He is a Blue Point, the Lilac Points don't get that dark ... and he is gorgeous! I love his little face!

Awww yes bluepoint! Of course oooopsy......looks like you're a lover of the orientals as well!!!

He is my first siamese, but I used to live with a family that had some, I just love them to death.....he never stops talking! or demanding........or cuddling...or being bad.....

What a handsome fellow. I thought our Bijou was Lilac point but he has darkened so much that I'm sure he's Bluepoint. He also goes outside (don't ask me - talk to my hubby ) and I've heard that will cause them to get darker. Mika is also Bluepoint and doesn't go out and she is much lighter.

You've done wonders with your handsome boy. Bijou was getting overweight too but since I've changed his diet he's lost 1.3 lbs. since July.

I know.........I'll have to thank you for the initial food advice!!! It's a HUGE part of what got him looking so awesome. I was just looking at the original pictures from my first visit today and I was like.....
