Hi,I've just been posting on the site recently("angels with dirty noses").
This is a great site-is there anybody reading this from my area who would maybe like to e-mail/private message or even meet up?
It would be great for me to meet fellow cat-lovers locally-only one of my friends has a cat,and he's not "nuts" about them in general(but looks after his one well).
My other interests are reading,poetry,travel and all kinds of esoterica/"the unexplained" etc

I have lots of friends in England and have visited there about six times. On my first stay, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, I took a week "to myself" and went up to Edinburgh. It was great because I don't like "tourist" things, although I did visit that enormous aboreum, but I also found the greatest used book store and had a good time there.

Other visits were to Blackpool (actually visitng a friend in Fleetwood), London, and Manchester (I know, "why???" - because one of my friends was in uni there)...Unfortunately, my globe-trotting days are over (finances).

I'm from Cheltenham(S.W.England)but have lived in Scotland for 26 years(two of them in Aberdeen)
I've visited New York several times,lived in Houston,Texas for three months,and been to Florida,San Francisco,Las Vegas and Hawaii but never West Virginia-were you born there?
I'm just back from Istanbul-and it will be my last trip for a while until the kitties are older/neutered etc.

There are several Brits on the site who, I'm sure, will be welcoming you in here soon. It's a bit early for them.

I was born in New York City, raised there, and Long Island, and upstate New York, but moved to Arlington VA (just outside Washington DC) when I was 7 and spent the next several decades there - only recently moved out here because it's beautiful ...and cheap!

(reading your post)...sounds like ear mites, fortunately those aren't hard to treat. Yeah, see what the vet says about the nose-dirt. I'm thinking uh-oh, any second a moderator is going to decide to move this thread...

I'm back in canada, Ontario to be more specific, and yes, adopted to 7 year old kitties when I got home! (well a couple months later, had to finish my degree first)
