A friend just came back from Italy and told me about it. Shouldn't there be more places like this?

The Torre Argentina is really famous. As far as I know, the cats there are now considered a "Roman treasure", under the special protection of the government.

That's right! My friend said it was an incredibly emotional place to visit. On the one hand she was so happy to see the cats being so well cared for and loved, yet she was so upset that she couldn't take one home. Instead, she's adopted the cat from afar.
