Hello all,
I live in a tiny hick of a town and so its hard for me to find things that are good for my furbabies (had to go to the next town over to find good catfood.
But I saw a tv commerical for the co op, and I have been told about the rescue remedy and so I went over there, and sure enough, they have it!
But thats not my main reason for posting...I found they have litter made from wheat I think its called Swheat or something like that. And I got a free sample of cat food called Breeders Choice AvoDerm cat/kitten - does anyone know about this and whether it is good for cats? I want to make sure its all good before I let my furbabies try it. I am currently feeding them nutro.

Sweat Scoop. I have used it. I believe they said this type of flushable (though I never do that). And it clumps as well. It's like the Pine litter, it's GREAT for pee smells, but doesn't seem to do much for poo. When I had it, I mixed it when another litter (papurr paper litter) and it seemed to work just dandy!

About the AvoDerm, I have fed it, (as a free sample as well) my cats seemed to really like it and I just gave it to them as a treat.

While this food is better then most store kinds like purnia, frisky's wiskas etc in my opinion, but there are others that are also MUCh better out there.

The first 5 ingredients are often the ones you want to pay the most attention to. As you can see this food has a lot of corn, which I tend to frown on, it's a filler, you should have MEAT there instead of something as low as corn. There is also Herring Meal in there, which is a fish and CAN make for more stinky stools (though not always.)
I am happy to see that there is no BHA or BHT in them, this is a major plus with me!
You could do worse, and you could do better, all depends on the price for the bag, and how much money you have to throw around for your cats food.

Ingredients:
Chicken Meal, Ground Yellow Corn, Corn Gluten Meal, Ground Whole Wheat, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Ascorbic Acid), Herring Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Brewers Dried Yeast, Avocado Oil, Corn Germ Meal, Dried Whole Cheese, Natural Flavoring, Lecithin, Taurine, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Niacin Supplement, Choline Chloride, Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate (Source of Vitamin B1), Biotin, Ascorbic Acid, DL-Methionine, Inositol, Dehydrated Kelp and Polysaccharide Complexes of Zinc, Manganese, Iron, Copper and Cobalt, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite, Dried Whey and Yucca Schidigera Extract.
